Group Financial Controller

We are searching for a Group Financial Controller to join an international luxury retail business in Central London.
You must therefore, have recent experience at FC level in a retail business.

The company is in the process of going through some exciting changes and these present the finance team with new challenges and a unique period of transition. This is the ideal time for a talented, ambitious Financial Controller to join the team. The role reports directly to the Finance Director.

The main requirements of the role centre around the following areas:
• Management of a team of 4, and interaction with senior teams across the business.
• Overseeing the monthly reporting of consolidated accounts.
• Understanding complex accounting matters throughout the group
• Overall responsibility for the preparation of group consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS.
• Key contact point for external audit.
• Driving change in controls and processes.
• Multi-tasking in a growing business where the development of more junior staff is very important.

You must be a fully qualified accountant with 5-10 years’ post-qualification experience. Your recent experience must be in a retail business.
