The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting an Interim Head of Global Transformation for a large Technology business based in Central London. This role will be pivotal in supporting the EVP Finance - Commercial & Transformation and wider Finance Leadership Team in transitioning to the new finance design embedding global processes and supporting technology architecture in a consistent and controlled manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the overall Finance Transformation which includes Organisational, Process and Technology change
- Deliver the overall project milestones to the agreed criteria within the functional and technical specifications and to the agreed timescales, quality and budget
- Define the scope and provide direction to the project team
- Define, plan and manage the project, including tasks, resources, timeframes and governance
- Develop detailed project work plans, including specifying critical path, dependencies, key milestones and deliverables
- Mobilise team and running stakeholder and project meetings
- Manage project issues and risks
- Provide day-to-day management of the project
- Project change control
- Project budget control and management of the investment request process
- Monitor stage gate and project progress against the agreed tolerances
- Manage issue resolution and escalate to steering committee, if necessary
- Organise and chair the weekly project progress meetings
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience of implementing large scale transformation programmes - managing a major global change programme
- Programme Management qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage co-located and remote teams ensuring visibility of progress, issues and driving teams to the desired outcomes
