The Opportunity:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and progressive Financial Controller to join this business in an exciting growth phase. This is a new position supporting and working closely with the FD, and there are very real progression prospects within the next 5 years.
The Role:
- Production of detailed monthly management accounts
- Preparation of the annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Responsible for all statutory compliance, including statutory reporting and necessary VAT/tax compliance
- Business partnering with the senior management team
- Lead the annual audit, liaising with external auditors
- Monitor and develop internal controls and processes ensuring best practice
- Cashflow monitoring and forecasting
- Managing monthly payroll process
- Manage and develop a small finance team
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Ideally a graduate
- A Confident and effective communicator
- A flexible approach to work
- Experience of working in different currencies would be highly advantageous
- Hard working and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A continual improvement approach
- A proven track record of managing financial processes and delivering high quality management reporting
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
