FINANCE DIRECTOR

Unique opportunity to join a specialist central London SME Advertising Agency, reporting to the MD and managing a team of 2.

They have a quality over quantity mentality and create some very interesting and thought provoking work to affect social change.

As the FD you will be pivotal in setting up the business and strategy plans to make sure targets are hit and drive growth and profitability. As a small business, this is a very hands on role and you will need to work from the bottom up and delve into the detail.

You will have the autonomy to make the role your own and implement anything and everything you see fit.

You will be involved in client pitches and be a key player in negotiating contracts rate cards and dealing with procurement.

The role:

• Support the founders and MD with strategy
• Responsible for delivering the agencies accounts
• Recruit and develop the finance team
• Providing strategy and consultative knowledge and advice to finance and non finance teams
• Implementing policies
• Business partner with heads of department
• Provide training to finance and non finance staff
• Preparing and analysing budgets and forecasts
• Adding commercial value and analysis
• Running the audit

The Person:

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Experience in a similar role
• Experience in an SME helpful
• Ambitious and driven
• Self motivated
• Entrepreneurial and a natural commercial thinker
• Hands on approach
