Client Accountant

This consumer retail business is going through an exciting growth phase which will see them add 15 - 20 new stores over the next year. As such they are looking for an experienced Client Accountant that can join the team on a permanent basis. Some of the key responsibilities are:

• Monthly / yearly reporting on 100 properties
• Responsibility for ensuring all lease, service charges, rates and insurance charges are completed according to IFRS
• Review leases of new properties to understand what should be accounted for
• Liaising with internal and external property teams
• Working on future pipelines to understand any updates on new sites that will impact accounting

This is an excellent chance to join a successful business and in order to do so you need to have the following skills:

• Working within a commercial business (preferably within a property company)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience dealing with rent and service charges (must have)
• Used to working in a fast paced environment
