Sales Ledger Manager

Our Surrey based NHS client urgently seeks a hands on Sales Ledger Manager to join their vibrant team on an initial 3 month basis. Ultimately responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control function for the trust, duties will include raising and posting invoices, chasing outstanding payments, co-ordinating monthly annual reporting as well as any other adhoc requirements as instructed by senior finance. This is an opportunity to nurture and drive a professional team, assisting in the implementation of business performance procedures whilst adhering to strict statutory and debt collection requirements at all times. The successful individual will be a minimum of part qualified CCAB or CIMA with extensive management skills ideally within an NHS environment previously. 

Duties will include:

• Managing a team
• Financial transactions
• Analysing financial data
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Ensuring satisfactory credit references are obtained
• Effectively dealing with customer account queries / complaints
• Ad hoc duties as and when required

You must have:

• Demonstrable management/leadership skills
• High level of accuracy/attention to detail
• An NHS background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A CCAB or CIMA Qualification (or studying towards)
