Management Accountant

My client, a well-respected long established business is keen to appoint an experienced management accountant into a newly created role, due to continued expansion of the company.

Reporting into the FD you will take responsibility for producing the management accounts for 2 of the company’s subsidiaries.

Duties will include:

• Monthly management accounts production, including balance sheet, p & l account production
• Assisting with cash flow forecasting
• Preparation & posting of monthly journals & completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Manage the aged debtor report and credit control
• Prepare VAT return
• CIS reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end audit file and tax packs for the Division
• Providing additional financial information to the business as needed and completing ad-hoc financial and business projects
• You will also provide hands on assistance to the other companies within the group at busy times

Role will suit an experienced management accountant, with strong reconciliation skills.  You will ideally have a smaller company background, with a ”hands on” approach.  You will be part qualified, qualified by experience or a qualified accountant.
