Accounts Assistant - Engineering - Permanent – Swindon
A newly created role for an Accounts Assistant is required by the Shared Service function of a global engineering company. Based in Swindon, the Accounts Assistant will support the Finance and Reporting Manager to help deliver a high performing transactional function for a developing division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the sales ledger, & bank and treasury accounts are accurate and up to date. The role will work closely with the Commercial team to resolve queries and facilitate effective sales invoicing and credit control and play a key role in the Finance team and the month end close.
Key for the role is enthusiasm for delivering accurate results within timeframes with a positive attitude to their work. You will need to be organised, accurate and have advanced Excel skills. Experience of working with ERP systems would also be an advantage.
