LivingLens innovative technology captures video insights that enable businesses to reach meaningful content instantly in any language, and analyse video just like any other unstructured data set. We are a young company who have gone from strength to strength, attracting significant investment through several rounds of funding. 

Reporting to the Founders and Directors of the company, the role requires a commercially minded Finance and Business Manager who is at least Part Qualified (Finance / Accountant degree). The successful Finance and Business Manager candidate will be implementing solutions across all areas of business – including legal and financial operations, process, supplier management and logistics.

This role will include responsibilities for various departments including Financial, Operational, Legal and Logistics.

Overview:

  • Ability to build financial models, manage budget and costs effectively and to ensure accurate data is produced by the team to monitor performance.
  • Work with the accounts team to ensure that UK accounts are prepared on time and in line with company standards and procedures.
  • Liaise with book-keeper in USA to provide assistance and maintain consistency and timeliness in reporting.
  • Desirable but not essential; experience in consolidating international subsidiary accounts and managing the risks associated with those e.g. including transfer pricing, invoicing in foreign jurisdictions, forex exposure, etc
  • Work with senior management to deliver relevant pricing, commercial models and P&L around agreements.
  • Cooperate with senior business executives and other unit heads to improve and implement business processes across the organization, including global expansion.
  • Take ownership of LivingLens compliance, security, policy and data documentation.
  • Manage relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure best pricing and reliable delivery.
  • Taking overall ownership of the procurement process identifying areas in need of improvement and implementing relevant solutions. 

Requirements:

  • As Finance and Business Manager you will have experience working across all areas of a business.
  • Experience of financial reporting, including management accounts, cash-flow, P&L and balance sheet. 
  • Experience working with senior management to design and implement policies and procedures to improve effective management of the business. 
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating and managing commercial suppliers and partners.
  • Understanding of contracts, experience working with legal teams to implement changes where appropriate.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with constant change.
  • Strong project / programme management– ideally within a commercially focused professional services company.

The ideal Finance and Business Manager will have Financial & Commercial management experience, ideally within a technology / software / SAAS company (Desirable but not essential) that has witnessed accelerated growth in multiple countries. You will currently be in a similar role looking after all aspects of the day to day running of the business.
