Management Accountant / Business Partner

Our well established client, based in Stroud are seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their high performing team. This hands-on finance opportunity will offer a varied & dynamic role where you can develop further and grow with the business. Directly reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this role will involve a range of accountancy competencies such as management accounting processes and business partnering for a number of the organisations sites.

•             Preparing monthly management accounts along with analysis / commentary

•             Business partnering with key stakeholders within the business

•             Assisting with accounting for projects; assessing variances from budgets, calculating WIP, ensuring all project milestones are achieved

•             Developing controls & processes to ensure the department runs smoothly

•             Contributing to external / statutory / tax / VAT reporting where appropriate

•             Assisting in ad hoc projects

The successful candidate will need demonstrable experience within a similar position ideally part-qualified/qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA). It is essential you have well developed communication skills with strong Excel and modelling skills highly beneficial. Previous experience within Microsoft Navision will be advantageous.

The role is offering a very competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, with a range of benefits such as performance bonus, staff discount scheme and study package if applicable.
