Job Description
To work closely with the CFO and other senior members of the team on a broad range of financial matters including:
- Maintaining accounting records of the partnership, including monthly reports, salary payments, vat returns
- Supervising the production of quarterly accounts of the Funds, liaising with administrators in Guernsey and Luxembourg
- Quarterly consolidated accounts
- Liaising with property and asset managers on asset performance
- Group cash management and treasury reporting
- Managing the delivery of quarterly reports to banks and monitoring compliance with banking covenants
- Updating annual business plans for each asset and reporting to the banks
- Reviewing and monitoring all investor capital calls and distributions
- Assisting with regulatory reporting to FCA
- Assisting asset managers with preparation of regular reports to lending banks
- Managing the fee income of the partnership
- Liaising with tax advisors on partnership tax returns; and
In addition, there will be involvement in the asset acquisition process, assisting the deal team with the development of investment models and business plans for target investments, reviewing tax and accounting due diligence reports from advisers, assisting with pre and post closing accounting and financing matters.
Based in West End but there will be regular travel to Vienna and Luxembourg, and also occasional travel to work with local teams across the CEE region.
Candidate Profile
The candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience at one of the following:
- Big Four/Six accountancy firm (ideally in the audit investment management team)
- Investment bank in an accountancy function; and
- Fund manager/Investment manager
Ideally with the candidate will have real estate fund management experience – experience of the private equity model/structure would be a strong preference. The candidate will have a very technical approach and an excellent work ethic with the desire to build a long term career.
