Finance Manager/Project Accountant

Axon Resourcing are supporting an organisation in the recruitment of a Finance Manager responsible for all aspects of financial monitoring, reporting and administration for a major project in conjunction with the project deployment management team. Day to day the role will involve translating the agreed commercial proposal into a financial reporting & costing model, maintaining a financial plan for the purposes of updating project variation reporting, purchase order monitoring and corporate plan contribution. You will support the project team by providing financial control via project reporting on earned value, target cost, progress to plan, billing and cost and customer MI. As the first point of contact for all financial aspects you will also model the impact of variances and present changes to the Change Board. To be considered for the role you will have a sound knowledge of financial controls and management with a track record of working successfully with Enterprise Financial Systems as well as good analytical skills ad experience of managing project budgets.
