Partner Financial is working with the fastest growing division of a Global Professional Services business based in Central London. Having grown organically and via a well-funded and ambitious acquisition strategy the business is combining the challenge of integrating several businesses at the same time as maximising shareholder value.
Supporting the Divisional Controllers with the legal entity controllership, you will be the key point of contact for the shared service centre and internal and external auditors in regards to revenue. The Revenue Controller will ensure all internal financial controls are adhered to and that revenue recognition is in line with the groups policy.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Review month end processes and ensure they are accurately reported in regards to revenue
- Review reconciliations prepared by the shared service centre in relation to relevant balance sheet accounts
- Review bad debt provision calculations and ensure they reflect the risk to the business
- Ensure the procedures are in place to maximise recoverability of expenses incurred
- Ensure revenue recognition is in line with the groups accounting policy
- Key point of contact for the business and shared service centre; providing guidance on and resolving revenue recognition issues
- Provide training when required to the business on revenue recognition
The successful candidate will have experience of revenue controllership and a strong understanding of the relevant contracts and mandates. An understanding of US GAAP and UK GAAP in relation to revenue recognition is highly advantageous and the ability to engage with the business is imperative to this role being a success.
