Description

  • Evaluate the actual spending in departmental functions and post accruals to ensure financial records are accurate.
  • Support functions to understand the reported numbers and manage the forecast to ensure spending remains within targets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and work with the departmental team to deliver the savings
  • Ensure all transactions and processes are SOX compliant for the area of responsibility
  • Work with engineering to ensure fixed asset counts are completed in line with schedules
  • Explain any variances to forecast and implement recovery plans where necessary
  • Monitor progress of WIP projects and report on deviations to plan

    • Profile

    • A degree in Accounting & Finance / Mathematics required at 2.1 or above
    • Experience in a finance role similar to the for mentioned duties or Finance Analyst/Accountant background
    • Good working knowledge of excel
    • Effective communicator
