Michael Page are currently working alongside a prestigious Acxcountancy Practice based in Salisbury looking for a client manager to join them.
Client Details
My client is a well established accountancy practice based in Salisbury that is growing significantly well and therefore opening up career prospects for their staff. They are looking for a Client Manager to help manage their current client based whilst helping to drive the practice forward.
Description
The role of a Client Manager is broad in that it involves accounts, tax and other ad hoc requirements that the clients may have. All clients within a Client Manager's portfolio will go straight to the manager with any queries regardless of what they are. This offers someone in the position an opportunity to completely manage a portfolio and have the autonomy of their own clients.
Clients will range in terms of industry sector and size of turnover.
Profile
For the successful applicant we are looking for someone who has an accountancy qualification ACA/ACCA and has experience working in a practice. As the role is very client facing, someone who has gravitas and a confident personality to manage a portfolio.
As the firm are looking to their future progression the right candidate would be someone who could become a partner going forward and continue to grow a portfolio.
To control the work flow and manage on a portfolio of clients
To deal with technical queries
To complete quality control
To review accounts, tax and VAT returns
To communicate with line manager and develop them from both a technical and personal perspective
To develop and train more junior staff
To be the primary contact with senior client staff, typically Financial Controllers and CFO level staff
Job Offer
£35,000- £45,000 dependent upon experience
