Finance Projects Analyst

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Finance Projects Analyst for a FTSE Listed Retail business based in London. As Finance Projects Analyst this role will report to the Head of Finance Projects and be responsible for managing all project documentation for all finance and company-wide projects. As Project Finance Analyst they will support the Finance Projects team and provide detailed analysis to ensure successful project delivery. They will provide critical value adding analysis to drive the success of all projects.

Duties include;

- Planning and managing a diverse range of finance projects in areas such as financial control, reporting, process improvement, team integration and systems integration

- Representing finance by supporting major company-wide projects that stretch across multiple departments

- Providing detailed support and analysis to the Head of Finance Projects

- Providing support to the Finance Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time

- Challenging processes in a collaborative way to ensure highest quality to-be processes

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business

- Ability to see and communicate risks/issues before they become a reality

This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will have previous Accounting experience including knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheets. They will have proven data gathering and documentation skills coupled with system change experience. They will also have strong process mapping skills and experience of re-engineering processes.
