Mulberry Developments is a privately owned, multidiscipline development company based in Northamptonshire that specialises in both Commercial and Residential housebuilding sectors.

As a result of business growth and ambitious plans for the future, there is a vacancy for a qualified Financial Controller.

The principal requirements for this role will be to regularly meet and liaise with third-party funders / JV partners, reporting and compliance requirements for the Group Companies, Treasury and liaising with the Group auditors to prepare the statutory accounts for some of the Group Companies.  Overseeing HMRC and CITB (Construction Industry Training Board), reporting and preparation of the accounts.

You will have an energetic ‘can-do’ attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and an eye for detail. As well as being personable and approachable you will have the capacity for significant workloads. 

Your principal responsibilities will be:

• Monthly and Quarterly reporting to third party funders
• Monthly and Quarterly reporting to JV partners
• Treasury – setting up new accounts, updating mandates, preparation and reporting of inter-company and third party interest and 12 weekly cash flow reporting
• Overseeing preparation of year end files and dealing with the group auditors to resolve any queries

You can expect an annual salary of circa £60,000 - £75,000 - commensurate with your experience and the challenges this role will bring.
