Financial Controller

My client, a household named FMCG organisation with a fantastic reputation for excellence and phenomenal market footprint are recruiting for a commercially minded financial controller to drive the performance of a profitable and dynamic division. The successful candidate will be required to have overall responsibility of this business unit's financials, management accounts, financial accounts, GL, balance sheet, budgets, forecasting. The role will involve project work, new business cases, stakeholder management and business partnering interdepartmental heads. Crucially the role pivots around the ability to drive performance, optimize process and affecting change. Management is required as this role looks after a team of 7 directly.

The successful applicant will have a recognised qualification ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CFA and will ideally be educated to degree level from a red brick university. Graduate scheme school leavers will also be considered if they demonstrate a strong track record and relevant sector experience from a blue chip organisation. FMCG experience isn't necessary but it would be an advantage to have come from a similarly fast paced organisation.
