Finance Business Partner

Wimbledon, South London

 

Our Head Office Finance/Controlling Department is looking for proactive and accomplished Finance Business Partners to join our growing team and partner with internal stakeholders across Lidl UK locally and Lidl internationally.

The Controlling Department provides strategic FP&A support to the executive management and operational departments with relevant key performance indicators for targeted management of all business processes within the company. What will you do?

  • FP&A partnering with designated national departments and communicating to international
  • Supporting executive management and designated operational departments
  • Challenging and providing insight into all aspects of financial performance
  • Planning, monitoring and analysing KPI’s, thereby identifying risks, errors, problems and driving improvement opportunities
  • Monitoring detailed P&L analysis
  • Manipulating and interpreting large sets of business data using the Business Intelligence Software
  • Designing advanced reports and tools used by various areas in the business that would help improve decision making and the performance of the business
  • Conducting quality assurance of systems
  • Developing and analysing audited areas
  • Implementing international standards
  • Assisting in projects relevant to Controlling and managing independent projects without direct reports

 

What will you need?

  • Fluent in English with at least an intermediate level of German
  • CIMA/ACCA Qualification is desired but not essential
  • Solid Management Accounting and Financial Reporting experience
  • Previous experience working with departments outside of Finance and  managing stakeholders
  • A proven aptitude for data analysis
  • Advanced Excel and VBA skills are essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work on projects and solve problems independently
  • An innovator rather than an administrator who is able to deliver the final product in a quality fashion
