Finance Manager

Fens: Cambridgeshire:- The One Group have been exclusively engaged to recruit a newly created part time position of finance manager for a produce
business in the Fens, this role will take the lead on all operational and management reporting duties and provides commercial support

Key duties include:

- Collate information and input data to prepare weekly profit and loss account, with full analysis
- Provide weekly analysis where required comparing actual performance with predicted targets and assist teams with understanding and explaining variances
- Attend weekly commercial meeting to present reports, collate commentary and discuss predictive period
- Preparation and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Ensure the accuracy of the profitability model by liaising with commercial, supply, planning and operations teams.
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts; Includes preparing and posting period end journals, preparation of period end file together with balance sheet reconciliation's.
- Monitoring overhead spends against predictive and budget and report variances to budget holders.
- adhoc projects as required

Suitable applicants will ideally be fully qualified/ finalist CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountants, with prior experience of factory/ produce environments, however a general knowledge of manufacturing and ERP systems will be considered.
