On behalf of my client I am seeking a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to undertake an interim Finance Manager position but with the potential for a permanent appointment. Located in the charming market town of Beverley in East Yorkshire, there are good public transport links and it is an easy commute from the East Yorkshire villages and coast, the Humber Bridge, Hull and the Market Weighton area. The ideal candidate will have a public sector/NHS/education sector background and there may be an option for a 4 day per week.

THE ROLE
-The role will involve the preparation of the management accounts and financial statements, all year end duties, balance sheet, budgets and cash flows and will require excellent attention to detail, a clear focused approach and first class communication skills. It may be possible for the position to be undertaken on a 4 day per week basis.

THE CANDIDATE
-A qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with previous supervisory experience, you are able to lead and motivate staff, establish and maintain good working relationships and work with honesty, transparency and integrity. Good with presenting and reporting financial information you are able to challenge the status quo when required and have broad based accounting skills, preferably with treasury management experience.

THE COMPANY
-Our client is based in the centre of Beverley and therefore has excellent public transport links by both rail and road. A specially reduced monthly car parking rate is available in a public car park nearby.

THE BENEFITS:
-Pro rata salary to £41,000
