A permanent accounts job with an accountancy firm based in Redditch, West Midlands paying up to £24k+study

Your new firm

You will be joining an Independent Accountancy Firm based in Redditch, West Midlands. This firm has around 30 members of staff and is exceedingly well thought of in the area among both its clients and staff. They have a unique client portfolio which makes them different to any other firm in the area.

This role has become available due to growth of the firm.

Your new role

You will be joining the Business Management team which is a close-knit team that has doubled in size over the past 12 months. Your role will be varied and will involve duties such as statutory accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT returns, tax returns etc. Your client portfolio will be exceedingly unique as you'll be working with high net worth individuals operating in the entertainment industry. Your role will be purely office based although there could be the occasional off-site client meeting.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have prior experience of working within practice - preferably 2 years as a minimum and you'll be working towards an accountancy qualification. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of statutory accounts preparation and can prepare accounts from start to finish completely unsupervised. You'll have an ambitious and out-going personality and you'll feel confident in engaging with clients on a regular basis.
