Financial Analyst

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Financial support towards various business functions within the business. Reporting to the head of FP&A, the successful candidate will be liaising with senior members of management in the financial planning and analysis.

Description

As the Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the strategy and long term planning at board meetings and through insightful analysis. You will also work alongside a team to develop and motivate the changes within the business:

• Analyse data to provide information to senior team members and budget holders.

• Producing a KPI pack for the performance of the business and analysing the moving trends

• Assisting in the review and production of the monthly management accounts.

• Ad hoc analysis/reporting/projects when required

• Provide commercial financial support to budget holders, management team and heads of departments across the business to achieve on financial objectives

• Support financial control and process improvement and implementation

• Simulation of financial models during the business planning cycle

• Review and analysis of the rolling costs forecast by function

• Helping to create return on investment modelling to support investment cases

Profile

The successful Financial Analyst will:

• Be ideally qualified - i.e. ACCA, ACA or CIMA

• Demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills

• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience/Ability in dealing with senior members of Management.
