Our client, a market leading business who are part of a larger, international group, are looking for a Revenue Accountant to join their expanding Southampton based team.
This role will take responsibility for all USGAAP accounting entries and maintain financial records relating to revenue streams. You will ensure balance sheet accounts are accurate and completed in a timely manner, as well as acting as Subject Matter Expert in relation to all revenue accounting, both for internal and external stakeholders. This opportunity will also review and update processes and systems in accordance with best practice and SOX compliance.
The successful applicant will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACMA, ACA) with strong technical accounting knowledge. You will have a sound understanding of business processes in all areas relating to business cost and will have advanced Excel skills. The ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders is also a pre-requisite. Experience with USGAAP and SOX is desirable, but not essential.
