Junior Data Analyst - reporting

Overview

 

This role forms part of the EMEA Compliance COO team and supports the team, and the wider function, by assisting the COO team with co-ordination of management information and reporting needs.

Responsible for the day-to-day analysis, research and resolution of varied problems. Functions include administering defined procedures, analysis and report generation, and exception processing. Coordinates the implementation of products/services and operational solutions. May assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new products/services. Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes. Incumbents have full working knowledge of operations environment acquired through experience in an operations environment and on the job training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production and co-ordination of key management reports in EMEA region
  • Analysis of Program data to identify common themes trends; summarise & present data through graphs / charts
  • Identify opportunities to centralise publication of management information liaising with key partners in other lines of business e.g. regional COO group, business controls and Officers
  • Assist in creating a playbook for key COO Governance routines and establish desk procedures for production of key Compliance reports
  • Assist in developing management information & key metrics to measure components of the Risk Management Program
  • Assist the team in documentation and reporting requirements for cross-functional / regional projects relating to either Senior Manager's Regime or the Governance framework

  • Professional approach with a clear and logical thought process and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritise daily tasks with project work as well as ad hoc requests
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines and to be able to escalate appropriately
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Motivated and reliable, ability to work well and seamlessly within a team without a continuous high level of guidance
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
