Financial Accountant

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A leading international business based south of Cambridge are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their established finance team.

Reporting into the Finance Manager you will joining a diverse business who offer a supportive and progressive environment with exposure to a number of financial processes as they take a collaborative approach to solving any queries.

The role will have key outputs and involve monthly P&L and balance sheet work for the company and its subsidiaries, monthly reconciliations and reviews of balance sheet items while assisting with the development of the ERP system in terms of processes and reporting. The role will provide support with corporate overhead reports, provide business partnering alongside cost centre managers as you monitor WIP and GIT to ensure systems are working appropriately. The UK and EU VAT and Intrastat returns would be done by a junior however would need assistance as required.

The successfully applicant will be ACCA,ACA,CIMA qualified from a financial accounting bias, however individuals looking for a first time move into industry from an audit background will be considered due to the nature of the technical exposure. The role will require someone who takes a collaborative approach to work due to the open plan office and communication across the wider finance team. You will have strong technical skills ideally from a larger business with the opportunity to help cost centres in their key financial decisions.

Salary £40,000 - £45,000
