My successful and growing Logistics client based in Stroud, Gloucestershire are seeking an ambitious and driven Management Accountant to join their hard-working finance team on a permanent basis. This hands-on finance opportunity will offer a varied & dynamic role where you can develop further and grow with the business. Directly reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this hands-on Finance Role will involve management accounting processes,business partnering for a number of the organisations sites and supporting the general accounting function.

Your key duties will include preparing and analysing weekly/monthly management accounts, lead performance planning with budgets/forecasts along with safeguarding company assets and ensuring internal controls are maintained. You will review and monitor financial policies & management information processes along with preparing monthly financial packs and analysing operational performance. Liaising with senior management and other colleagues you will advise on pre-empt problems adapting to changing circumstances and improving values.

For this great opportunity in this challenging Management Accountant role you will need experience within a similar position ideally part-qualified/qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA). It is essential you have key communication skills with strong Excel skills and experience in business accounting systems. Experience within Microsoft Navision and having worked within a logistics business previously will be advantageous.

Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire this finance position is offering a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, with competitive benefits such as performance bonus, staff discount scheme and study package if applicable.
