The position of Deputy Director of Finance, exists to support the Director of Finance in their management of all areas within the finance function.
Along with the running of a medium sized finance team, you will attend senior management meetings and deputise for the Director of finance in their absence.
Key areas of responsibility include:
?Financial Planning, Management and Reporting
?Accounting, including year end returns and monthly management accounts
?Payroll
?Company Secretary
?Income Generation
?Insurance
?Provision of high quality financial services to external clients
?Pensions
?Risk
Suitable applicants will have previously worked in a broad finance role, in either a school, Academy, college or similar educational set up.
You will also hold a Professional qualification in accountancy (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent)
