This firm provides a complete range of accounting, tax and business advisory services to individuals, small and medium sized businesses and offer specialist expertise in niche sectors such as charities, doctors, insurance brokers and solicitors.

Your new role
Your new role as a personal or mixed tax manager, will involve portfolio management for a varied and broad portfolio of clients and/or a number of tax senior's. You will be responsible for the filing and submission of tax returns, client liaison via email, telephone and face to face and also liaising with HMRC on behalf of the client. You will also be responsible for ad hoc tax planning and advisory work naturally off the back of this portfolio and report writing in addition. The balance of compliance and advisory work in this role will be dependent on level of experience and what the relevant candidate will be willing to pick up.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have recent and relevant experience of managing a portfolio of either personal or mixed tax clients and ideally have some experience in tax planning and advisory work. You will be confident in liaising with clients via various means and ideally be CTA qualified or equivalent.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £25,000-£40,000 dependent on level of experience appointed at level of people management experience taken on. You will also receive 23 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
