Financial Controller

This fast growing digital brand is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in central London in a broad role offering hands on exposure across Finance. This award-winning brand is one of the leading names within the sector and a recent restructure in Finance will see you take ownership of the role and drive the business moving forwards. Reporting to the Finance Director your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation, review and distribution of monthly management accounts including commentary and variance analysis
• Monthly reconciliations of the bank, P&L and balance sheet
• VAT returns, weekly Cashflow preparation and responsibility for monthly payroll
• Preparation of forecasts, budget control and value added financial analysis

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) with a strong academic record. You will have had previous exposure using Sage Payroll and Sage Line 50 and previous experience working in a similar role within a fast paced SME environment highly advantageous. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be comfortable communicating across all levels.
