Assistant Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are recruiting for an SME manufacturer based in Rotherham. The business are looking for an assistant management accountant to join their growing finance team. The business have an annual turnover of £14 million and are ideally looking for someone with SME experience.

The role will involve the following duties:

oProducing management accounts on a 4 weekly basis showing actual performance vs. budget.
oBalance sheet reconciliation and other general period and year end accounts duties.
oProviding a rolling annual forecast of cash-flow and Profit &Loss.
oProviding and managing the cost of sales analysis.
oProviding ad-hoc 'what if' scenarios as well as periodic and annual returns/reports to the management as well as to external parties re the organisation's performance.
oProfit & loss adjustments

If you have any experience in manufacturing/engineering industry then please clearly detail this on your CV. Likewise, should you have had any exposure to Microsoft Excel (VBA, SQL, pivot tables/vlookups/macros) then please make sure this is highlighted.
