Management Accountant

Management Accountant (CIMA,ACA or ACCA qualified) - Expanding Property Group

A newly created role of Management Accountant has arisen within an expanding property company based in Central London. The Management Accountant will play an integral part in the continual development of the business and will operate on a highly visible level.

The Management Accountant will report into the Financial Controller and responsibilities will be broad and varied, including:

- preparation of management accounts and consolidated reports for the UK entity

- assisting the FC with budgeting, forecasts and variance analysis

- assisting with the year end process with outsourced providers

- produce timely MI reports for key stakeholders

- build relationships across all areas of the business

- recommending improvements for reporting and financial control

- maintenance of appropriate control systems

- ad hoc projects in line with business expansion

Applicants for this Management Accountant role must be a qualified  ACCA, ACA or CIMA with a university degree and at least 4-7 years of management accounting and budgeting experience. . You will have proven experience in the field of accounting and finance ideally with previous property or retail background although not essential. To succeed in this environment, the individual must be results driven with a positive and can do attitude, somebody that is willing and able to enhance their own professional development in tandem with the anticipated growth of the company. More responsibilities will be delegated as the individual develops their skills.Last but not least the Management Accountant must be somebody that is outgoing, energetic and confident working with people at different levels and in different departments. A sense of humour is also a must!
