A growing Leisure & Hospitality business based in London is looking to hire a Financial Controller. This is an exciting business, boasting an excellent reputation and fantastic city based offices.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the accounting team, ensuring all financial and tax reporting deadlines are met. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of reporting policies across the firm. This role has responsibility for the direct reports to several board-members and has oversight of the Year-End financial reporting process. It is a hands on role in which you will be willing to take a practical approach to problems and lead from the front in the day to day running of the group function, as well as jump into ad-hoc projects where needed.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a qualified accountant preferably with a strong technical accountancy background. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a Leisure & Hospitality business, though any background would be considered. You will need strong technical reporting skills and previous experience of some staff management in order to effectively lead the team.
