Salary: £40K - £45K per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week / 9am - 5pm
Location: Swindon
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting a management accountant for a utilities business based in Swindon. This is a permanent vacancy, ideally looking for a candidate on one month's notice or less.

This role would be great for someone who likes to dig into the detail of large-scale budgets, but also can act as a good conduit to the non-finance teams in the business."
Producing management information for regular reports
- Collating and presenting financial results, compare and contrast with budget, forecast, and previous year end
- Month end journals
- Variance analysis
- Balance sheets recs
- Aged debtor reports
- Bank account clearing
- Ad hoc analytic reports for strategic projects
Essential experience/qualities:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) - this is non-negotiable
- Experience of hands-on management accounting
- Excellent Excel skills i.e. using functions to manipulate data and produce reports
- Strong communications, able to build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Comfortable presenting information to varied audiences
- Ideally experienced with SAP
