The Opportunity:
A fantastic 12-month opportunity has arisen within a private equity backed, healthcare business based in central London. This multi-site business has received significant funding from the investors and requires a dynamic and thorough business analyst to aid and drive this exciting period of growth and development. This role offers excellent autonomy and responsibility in shaping this growth path. Thus you will work closely with and advise the Head of FP&A and CFO around the business units whilst having excellent strategic exposure with investors. The perfect role for a commercially focused candidate!
The Role:
In this role you have the opportunity to visit a number of sites (in and around London) to assess which units have the potential to further improve productively and profitability (making specific suggestions). The flip-side of this remains key in addressing loss making entities and where highlighting where risk management is essential. You will produce the analysis explaining the P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow, including the variances to budget, prior year and latest forecasts. Thus you will be an instrumental component supporting the CFO’s presentations on forecasts, annual presentations on budget and presenting the strategic plan to investors. Strong modelling skills will be essential to supporting the regular analysis of data when producing and collating documents and reports for investors. Interestingly you will have the opportunity to conduct a review of existing financial performance against budgets and forecasts last year so that a full report (with recommendations) can be presented to the CFO and private equity house.
The Requirements:
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Excellent excel and modelling skills
• Ability to present and explain financial information to all levels of management
• Experience of international businesses (preferred)
• Excellent written & oral presentation skills
