Our client, a world leading, dynamic business, is now seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their large Kent offices on a permanent basis. The role has been created due to continued expansion both within the UK and globally. The Financial Accountant will take responsibility for the balance sheet and cash flow for EMEA and US regions and have the following responsibilities:
Candidate will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA) and possess strong technical accounting skills, including the preparation of statutory accounts and a good level of Excel. Individual's looking to make a first move from practice will be considered favourably although this is not a pre-requisite. In addition this role requires a considered approach with strong attention to detail, an inquisitive mind and the desire to investigate and solve problems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading business with a global presence that can provide strong progression opportunities.

- Preparation of UK statutory accounts and interim and year end statutory reporting packs
- Monthly balance sheet reporting and review of balance sheet accounts
- Assist with corporation tax computations and assistance with corporate tax returns
- Reviewing inter-company reconciliations
- Getting involved in the month end process, reviewing and making relevant adjustments
- Continuous review of processes and controls, making improvements where appropriate
