Our client, a global brand named business are looking to recruit an Interim Financial Control and Reporting Manager to join their finance function in Mid Kent. With an excellent reputation in the market and huge growth and success recently, this is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in what is a dynamic and fast paced environment. Reporting into the Head of Finance and managing a team of 6, key responsibilities will include:
Candidates will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and possess strong financial accounting experience together with an understanding of how a commercially focussed business operates. In addition individuals will need to demonstrate their ability to operate in a large and fast paced environment where demands can change very quickly, Previous staff management experience is also a pre-requisite.

- Control of the UK balance sheet and P&L for a number of Group companies
- Review and development of internal processes and controls
- Co-ordination of the year end process, including the statutory accounts, liaising closely with external auditors
- Working with the wider business to ensure month end is completed to tight deadlines
- Ensuring SOX controls are reviewed and maintained
- Co-ordination of VAT and corporation tax requirements
- Managing and developing a team of 6
- Ad-hoc project based work
