Finance Business Partner

Site Controller / Finance Business Partner required for a leading manufacturing business in Newcastle.

Our client is a leader in their field, has the broadest product portfolio and has built on its reputation over many years by providing the exact standards required by their customers. Due to growth they are seeking a Site Controller who will act as the Finance Business Partner for 3 sites.

Your new role
Based on the site near Newcastle under Lyme you will act as the Finance Business Partner to the site management teams of three sites to enable successful delivery of the sites financial and operational targets. You will provide financial control expertise, guidance and support within cost control, reporting, project planning, management and inventory valuation.

We need you to fully understand the cost structure of the site to be able to work with the site and group leadership teams, you will manage all month end reporting and related activities, work with the finance shared services in regards to compliance, legal and tax issues. take a lead from the sites perspective in managing the annual budgetary and quarterly reforecast process and take responsibility for all significant site capital expenditure requests and ensure all site fixed assets are controlled. You will also lead effective internal controls, including quarterly and annual SOX testing, preparing and updating site delegation and covering all aspects of operations

What you'll need to succeed
We need a Qualified Accountant who has a solid background within either site control or manufacturing, you need to be analytical and ideally be familiar with large scale enterprise systems. Strong knowledge of ERP/JDE systems would be an advantage along with excellent communication skills.
