Senior Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a senior accountant to join a wealth management boutique Accountancy Practice based in Mayfair.

Our client specializes in providing accounting, taxation, compliance and business advisory services to an international high net worth client base.

The company has undergone enormous growth in the last few years this is set to continue making it an exciting time to join. This will be an ideal role for a commercially driven and technically sound professional looking for the next step.

Main responsibilities senior accountant will include:

• Build good rapport with clients, with a clear understanding of client expectations and achieving high levels of client service
• The Senior Accountant will supervise and prepare annual accounts for UK & IRISH companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Maintaining existing client accounts as well as establishing new business
• Creates monthly financial reports, including cash-flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Prepares end-of-year reports and statements and business tax compliance
• Prepare and review management and year end accounts for FCA regulated businesses
• Prepares and presents budget proposals for new and existing clients which cohere with client specifications and existing budget information
• Liaises with the external auditors during the yearend audit process
• Strong statutory accounts experience and sound accounting, corporate and personal tax and VAT technical knowledge

In order to succeed in this position you must be:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA)
• Practice experience
• Sage Accounts Production Advanced (SAAP)/Sage Corporation tax
• Well organised and disciplined
• Good Analytical skills
