Financial Controller

A really exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands on Financial Controller to join an industry leading, multi million pound turnover business based in Gloucestershire.

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective financial and management accounting across the whole organisation. This will be achieved by the following:

• Managing and developing financial controls and systems within the finance department and across the organisation
• Preparing, developing and analysing management accounting and other financial reporting information
• Providing high quality support and advice services to budget holders, managers and other staff.
• Overseeing all aspects of day to day accounting activities (sales and purchase ledger, treasury management, cash control etc.)
• Reporting to the Managing Director with timely and accurate financial information

Within this Financial Controller position, you will be a natural leader; motivating and supervising the finance team as well as providing support where necessary and aiding their professional development.

We are looking for an individual who has previous experience within a similar position who is used to a fast paced, all-encompassing finance position, who enjoys getting stuck in to all aspects of a business.
