Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Group Accountant for a leading manufacturing business in Rotherham.
The purpose of the role is to proactively work with subsidiaries to compile robust and timely consolidated management accounts to enable key business drivers to be reported to the board. You will also oversee the collation, verification and consolidation of Group forecasts and budgets in accordance with the Group timetable.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for the consolidation of the Group Management Accounts and preparation of the group management information packs.
- Produce the Group Year End Statutory Accounts and review the statutory accounts of the subsidiary entities.
- Review local entity month end reporting submissions.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts
- Undertake and oversee the consolidation of the Group Statutory Accounts in accordance with the pre-agreed timetable
- Coordinate and produce the Group Budget and Group Forecasts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow and provide key summarised information for the board.
- Liaise with External Auditors in the year end planning and audit process.
- Ensure the integrity of data held in the database in terms of monthly Management Accounts and Group Budgets.
- Provide assistance and support to colleagues in the Finance team as and when required.
- Undertake ad-hoc business projects as and when required.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
*Ideally trained within the profession (Local independent practice would be preferable) Industry candidates will also be considered
*ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified
*Strong technical accounting skills
*Good team player
