Financial Analyst

Badenoch & Clark are currently partnering a highly reputable and progressive company based out of Southampton in aid of appointing an exemplary candidate to assume the role of Financial Planning Analyst. You will be a pivotal member of the FP&A Finance Unit and will be accountable for the integrity of the reported actuals, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting.
You will be required to work across the FP&A Unit, Business Partners and Functional leads in order to manage the consolidated forecasting and budgeting model. As such, you must have a meticulous eye for detail alongside the interpersonal and communicative capacities to convey all pivotal information with accuracy and punctuality.
Key Accountabilities:
* Manage the consolidated forecasting and budgeting model collating all inputs from the FP&A Business Unit analysts, Business Partners and Functional leads into the budgeting and forecasting model.
* Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
* Preparation of all company month end submissions using Hyperion Smart View in relation to the STF
* Developing Hyperion reports providing insight to entity management team.
* To be a key point of contact for company FP&A team on all HFM reporting.
* Work with the company analysts to develop the inputs and outputs into the consolidated forecast, allowing the team to produce all MI by both Business Unit and by entity.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships across Finance - particularly with company divisional finance and finance business partners - to identify new business needs, review performance, and resolve issues
* Manage operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate.
* Ensure information systems are operated to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records.
* Ensure there are adequate resources, including contingency arrangements, to run the business and meet our customer commitments.

Essentials:
* Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following
* The candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
* Hyperion (HFM) is essential
