Axon Moore is currently working with one of the North West’s fastest growing businesses looking to grow its Finance team with the hiring of a commercially-minded Finance Manager.
This business is a market leader in the UK with a growing presence in the US. Having taken on private equity investment within the last 18 months, the company is now looking to target significant growth within the next few years.
The newly-created Finance Manager role will report directly into a high-calibre Head of Finance who will work closely with the successful candidate over the next few years.

The Finance Manager will undertake a varied role including;
- Manage the relationship with the external auditors and take full responsibility for the year-end audit process, including the preparation of statutory accounts
- Management of tax planning and compliance, including overseas tax
- Reporting to Private Equity backers, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Perform ad-hoc detailed analysis, looking at the profitability of customers and specific segments, communicate findings and contribute to any required corrective actions
- Business Partnering with the Supply Chain Department to give financial support on key projects
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasting process
The successful candidate will have the following background and demonstrable experiences;
- ACA (first time passes) from a top10 practice
- At least 2 years post-qualified with experience of industry
- Strong excel skills
- Good attention to detail
