Interim Project Accountant

Interim accountant to support insurance business with a reconciliation project based in Central London

Your new company
You new company is a Lloyd's Managing Agency based in London City. They are part of a wider insurance group who have gone through a number of acquisitions recently.

Your new role
You will be coming into a finance team that has recently gone through a period of change They have recently acquired a business so have a requirement for somebody to support them in updating their processes and integrating legacy systems. This will require reconciling the data from the legacy systems onto their current system. You will be process mapping and ensuring controls are in place for BAU reporting going forward. The role will be initially three months but it will be expected to be extended beyond this.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with experience in reconciliations and financial systems ideally within project. Similar project experience will be beneficial. You will be able to hit the ground running and able to work autonomously.

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a day rate between £300-£350/day on a rolling contract. You will be entering a business that is going through an exciting period of change which could provide further opportunity down the line.
