Accounting and Finance Manager

Axon Moore are currently recruiting an Accounting Manager for a market-leading e-comms business based in Manchester.

Having undergone rapid expansion in the last few years, the business is now undertaking the next stage of its growth through consolidation if its position in the UK, in addition to expansion into global markets – most notably the US. 

The business is now a leading brand within the industry and as a result of its rapid expansion, is keen to implement an ongoing strategy to consolidate its brand.

Working as part of a high-calibre Finance team, the roles and responsibilities for the Accounting Manager include;

• Mentoring the Accounts Payable and junior Finance team 
• Developing and managing a suite of performance-improving KPIs in line with the growth aspirations of the business
• To run weekly Accounts Payable payment proposals sending out to key departments for review, including Treasury for Cash forecasting

• Running weekly Bacs Payment runs for Accounts Payable and expenses
• Regular reviewing of supplier statement reconciliations produced by team 

The successful candidate will have the following demonstrable experiences; 

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified 
• At least 4 years’ experience within Accounts Payable function or Accounting Manager role
• Strong excel and systems skills 
• The capability to work within a fast-paced environment
