Management Accountant – Urgent Requirement

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a qualified Management Accountant to join a reputable organisation based in Quedgeley. This client is looking for someone to contribute to the planning and delivery of a comprehensive range of financial support activities.
Location: Quedgeley, Gloucestershire
Salary: £40,000 + benefits
Contract: Permanent
Day to day duties:
- Assist in the preparation of and challenge of monthly cost centre forecasting reviews
- Ensure adequate financial controls are in place and maintained
- Assist with the delivery of a range of month end close activities on time and to a high standard of accuracy
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly forecasts and yearly business plans
- Work with finance and non-finance staff to improve processes for reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations, raising invoices and assisting with Accounts Payable
- Contribute fully to Continuous Improvement for all Finance Activities
- Ensure compliance with financial control policies and procedures
- Assist with monthly payroll procedures
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Director
Required experience:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW)
- Commercial accounting experience
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
