A world renowned Media Business are looking for a Commercial Accountant for a Strategic Planning Analyst position in their offices in central London
Strategic Planning Analyst - Global Media Business - Central London
I. OVERVIEW
Working closely with the Director, Strategic Planning, the Analyst will be responsible for generating sales reports to support the needs of the Sales teams and ensure they have the current sales information available.
The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining underlying Sales data supporting the regular and ad-hoc reports.
II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide sales reporting to communicate sales performance to Senior Management. Responsible for working directly with efforts sales teams across multiple international markets to quantify weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly performances relative to budgets and targets.

Assist in the preparation of Budgets and Long Range plans

Produce ad-hoc management reports. The reports can range from pricing and inventory, management to category and client detail revenue, and entail working with revenue and traffic databases to sift through data, analyse and eventually extract and synthesise key relevant information. Advanced EXCEL skills, a degree of ACCESS database skills and familiarity with reporting systems are necessary.

While the position has no direct revenue accountability, it does interface directly with over 20 sales offices worldwide, approx. In addition, the position is integral to managing in advertising revenue across TV networks and websites.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (NOT MANDATORY)
Research / Analytical mind set
Direct Sales experience
Excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize
Relevant, 2+ years' experience preferably at digital media agency, digital media owner
Strong Excel skills
Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA or Equivalent)
- Degree or equivalent education qualification
- Fluent with Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Access)

- Excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
