Your new accountancy practice is a large and award winning independent chartered accountancy practice with offices in Lancashire and Manchester. Having been established over 80 years ago this firm now offers a broad range of business services to a variety of clients. This firm are looking to recruit a new Personal Tax Senior /Manager due to a restructure and growth.

Your new role
Your new role will be to manage a portfolio of Personal tax clients from the legal industry and act as an industry specialist. You will prominently be responsible for the filing and submission of tax returns, however, depending on the experience and competency of the candidate, you may have an involvement in tax planning and advisory work. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the client relationship and liaising with clients and HMRC via various means in regards to tax matters.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this post, you will have at least 12 months experience of managing a personal tax portfolio within practice. Candidates that have experience of dealing with clients from within the legal industry will be looked upon favourably. Qualifications are not essential for this post, however candidates that are ATT and/or CTA qualified will be looked upon favourably.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts, you will receive a competitive salary of between £22,000-£35,000 depending on your experience and entry level. You will also receive 20 days annual leave and 8 days bank holiday.
