Assistant Financial Accountant

SF Group are currently working with a fantastic organisation for an experienced Financial Accountant in Birmingham. The successful Financial Accountant will have experience of communicating with senior staff and supporting non-financial management with budgets. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have significant experience of statuary accounts and strong experience of managing external audit, VAT and intrastat returns and looking after the fixed asset register.

The successful Financial Accountant will have strong communication skills and have the ability to present information in a simple format to operational managers. You will ideally be a qualified accountant with strong systems (Agresso) and Excel knowledge and be available to report complex data to senior stakeholders. Furthermore, you will assist with year end statutory accounts and be able to come on board and hit the ground running. Ideally you will have excellent experience of VAT returns and preparation and be able to work closely with a variety of stakeholders.

The organisation is situated in Birmingham with very good public transport links, on site parking is also available. The company is seeking a proactive individual who is able to work with the organisations plans of change and growth.
