Finance Director

Our client is a global food retail brand operating in over 30 countries with a well-established presence on the UK High street. There are currently in excess of  90 UK sites with ambitious roll out plans to double the UK market over the next 5 years.  The business is looking to hire a best- in- class Finance Director to take a pivotal role in the entrepreneurial management team heading up one of the best performing and fastest growing markets of this global brand.   This role is highly visible within the organisation and will report directly to the CEO with key responsibilities for helping lead the strategic direction of the business.  The successful candidate will be expected to provide valuable commercial support across all areas of the business as well as lead the Finance function and the largely outsourced IT, Supply Chain and Procurement  functions.  Furthermore, responsibility for managing all cash – including banking relationships and working capital requirements will fall within the remit of this role.  This is a hugely exciting time to join this successful organisation and the ideal candidate should have previous multi-site experience, whether from retail or hospitality, as well as a demonstrable track record of being a stand-alone Finance Director within a growing organisation.  In addition, interested candidates should be motivated by working in a dynamic, fast moving consumer facing organisation where the Finance function is firmly positioned as key to the overall performance of the organisation.
